3 Configuring Server Settings
Warning: Advanced knowledge of the ToolVox system is required before making any changes other
than network settings to the system. Changing settings other than the network settings may result
in complete system failure. Hourly support packages are available and require remote access to the
system via remote desktop control.
TheToolVoxX3hastheIPcongurationsettoDHCPbydefault.Whilefacingthebackofthe
ToolVoxX3server,theNIContheleftiseth0andtheNIContherightiseth1.NICeth0istheonly
interfacethatisactivatedatboot.NICeth1wouldneedtobeactivatedinWebmin,ifitisneeded.
AuseraccountwasalsoaddedtorunthefollowingfromtheCLIforthosefamiliarwithLinux
platforms:
TherearemultiplemethodsforloggingintotheToolVoxserver.
Initiallyyoumayjustwantakeyboardandmonitordirectlypluggedintotheserver.Youcanthen
congurethenetworksettingsusingCLIcommandslistedbelow.OnceyouknowtheIPaddressof
theserveryoucanconnectviaSSHoruseawebbrowserandentertheWebminsideoftheserver
toeditnetworksettings.Youdonotneedtodobothmethods.
